Hello, I’m Martin Webster, owner and principle gardener of The Suburban Gardener. I’ve lived in Glenfield for 30 years and have been gardening for much longer.

My passion for gardening started when I lived in Kent. After moving to Leicestershire in the early 1990s, I chose a home in Glenfield with a large garden, where I’ve honed my gardening skills and knowledge.

During 2020 I decided to quit the corporate world and start my own business and now offer a number of garden care services in Glenfield and the surrounding area. This includes Anstey, Birstall, Groby including the LE3, LE4 and LE6 postcodes.

These days, more and more people want to take care of their gardens because they’ve realized that a garden isn’t just a place to relax in, but also a practical part of the home for entertainment and enjoyment. Yet, maintaining a garden does take time and requires knowledge of plants and the seasons. For this reason, having a helping hand with specialist knowledge of domestic gardens is beneficial.

I offer customers garden care services that can be booked by the hour, for half a day or a full day that are based on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly arrangement, typically from late February through to October. I offer you flexibility that most grounds maintenance contractors and gardeners cannot offer.
